Last weekend in PA and there was a festival at our campground, Quiet Oaks Campground. It's called Smoked Country Jam.

About 400 campers showed up... but like typical campers, they're all good, salt-of-the-earth people. And their desserts were excellent ;-)

It was a chilly weekend in the mountains -- mid-50s. Campfires going all over today. We dry our wood out around the fire, makes it easier to burn.

I volunteered in the kitchen one day.

Pasquale and his buddy (the owner of the campground), Dave "working" security.

Banjo workshop.

Down listening to the bands playing.

Typical night -- campfire and Bluegrass music under the stars

The campground started filling up. And those rolling hills in the background.

New nightly job -- tend to the fire.

Enjoying some homemade soup. It was actually a little chilly. Got down to the 50s in the morning and warmed up a bit in the afternoon. Perfect temps.

Taking it all in... what a journey this has been so far.

...after the festival, we packed up our stuff. Said our goodbyes and thank yous to our dear friends and continued west. Ohio, here we come.
