"You don't see that anymore" was the first thought that came to mind.
We stopped at a gas station pretty close to the state line. Did the usual, filled up the tank, took the animals out, grabbed a few snacks. In no rush at all. As Pasquale was pumping the gas a truck pulled up along side him and the guy driving asked if we needed help. The guy said a neighbor called and thought maybe you guys needed some help. It was really sweet of them and a very warm welcome to Ohio.
We made it to the campground mid-day and everything was so green. And you know the best thing about green grass now? We don't have to cut it.
BUT there's a water restriction and signs posted "Boil your water before using." And this is for everything -- brushing teeth, showering, cooking, drinking water. Just another adventure.

Around the camper

Most days we get dressed and go on adventures. But some days we stay in our pjs, grab a chair under a tree and see how many books we can read.

campfires all the time... and pizza box burning skills. And yes, I have my slippers on outside and I love it.

Green on green on blue skies. And we don't have to mow a single inch of it.

Little touches go a long way
In the camper

Turns out we kept a few tools. Adding some touches to the camper.

Our open floor concept and some of our favorite signs. Living room with 2 full reclining chairs right next to the kitchen table that doubles as a sleeping spot for the cats. We eat most meals al fresco (that's fancy for outside) anyway.
